Helping people has always been at the heart of everything I do. It’s a passion that took root early on and has shaped my life.
When I was growing up, I was fortunate enough to stay with my grandma and aunt for a few years. They taught me the importance of community, dedication, and hard work. Their influence had an effect on my entire family, including my mom and siblings, sharing the same dedication to helping people in any way we can. My grandma and my aunt left a lasting impression on me. When I returned to live with my mom and siblings, I had to step up as the oldest to help my single mom take care of them and the house.
Those experiences taught me that lifting others up is just as important as working hard for your own success. This drive is what led me to build my marketing company when I moved to Sarasota (a company I ran from 1996 to 2023). It was a big risk, but within the first week, I had already set up five accounts. My goal was always to make a real difference for the people I worked with, building genuine relationships, being honest, delivering on promises, and earning my clients’ trust. I wanted to be someone they could rely on, and I built my business on that foundation.
While growing my business, my family was always my top priority. I brought my kids with me to Florida and also raised my 4 step children and niece, making sure they had the love and support they deserved. It wasn’t always easy to balance raising a family with managing a growing business, but I was proud to provide for them and teach them the values I’d learned from my own childhood.
As I worked alongside real estate professionals over the years, I saw the impact they had on people’s lives—guiding families through transitions, finding them places where they could create memories, and helping them achieve their dreams of homeownership. It inspired me to consider doing the same, and by 2020, I got my real estate license.
Becoming a REALTOR® was the start of a new chapter built on everything I had learned. My background in marketing—understanding client needs, building trust, and communicating effectively—has been invaluable as a REALTOR®, along with my community knowledge. Most importantly, I bring the same dedication to building relationships that I always have, ensuring my clients know I’m there for them long after the deal is done. It’s been incredible to see my business double year after year and know this is just the beginning!
Being a REALTOR® allows me to combine my passion for helping others with my deep connection to Sarasota, where I’ve lived for nearly 30 years. My long history here means I truly understand the local market, but it also means I’m invested in this community. I’m actively involved with Bayside Church and The Eagles and support local initiatives, especially those that help kids, such as running fundraising events and donating to schools.
When I’m not helping clients find their perfect home, I love spending time with my kids and six wonderful grandkids. Becoming a grandmother has truly been one of the greatest joys in my life. I also have a full house with four dogs, Lilly, Noah, Polo, and Bear. I love boating, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. These keep me grounded and remind me of the simple joys that make life truly fulfilling.
As a REALTOR®, I’m proud of the reputation I’ve built as a trusted partner who genuinely cares. My approach to real estate centers on understanding my client’s needs and ensuring they feel supported at every step. I work with a range of clients—from first-time buyers to those seeking luxury island homes. While I have credentials as a luxury specialist, I love working with clients at every stage, whether they’re searching for a cozy starter home or an upscale retreat. Luxury is not a price point, but a level of service.
